Animals of Appalachia is always looking for ways to get people and animals together in a positive way. What started as a silly, inside joke has become reality… Duck Yoga!
Who knew the patter of duck feet and the gentle quacking combined with relaxing, not too intense yoga would be the perfect combination of ridiculousness, fun, and relaxation.
Listen to the gentle quacks as you are lead through a tailored experience made thoughtfully for each class. Duck yoga may sound chaotic… and it kind of is, but it’s also fun and really relaxing!
New to yoga?
Nobody judges! Except the ducks.
We are by no means experts, or even yogies (if that is even the correct spelling). We are yoga novices that have a lot of ducks. We can’t say you will walk away with a better knowledge of yoga but we can say it is a unique experience you won’t find anywhere else.
Why not give it a try?! Yoga like no one else you know. Don’t worry if you think you can’t do it. No one will notice because they’ll be staring at the ducks.
We tested the concept in a single offering and IT WORKED!
We are now going to offer Duck Yoga as a regular class. Starting in August of 2024 you can sign up for Duck Yoga. We will have 2 class times every other Thursday. See times and location information below.
We are also offering a few different payment options. $15 per class on a class by class basis, $25 per month, or $250 per year. You can choose which works best for you.
What you need to know:
- Our ducks are not agressive
- Ducks like to poop
- Ducks can have a smelly smell
- It is actually relaxing
- The yoga is real
- The ducks are real

What you will need:
- A yoga mat
- A willingness to be near ducks
- A big smile (optional)
- A good attitude
